Position: CNC Machinist
Location Sarasota FL
job Type: FullTime
Salary $28/hour(Flexible) Benefits
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our highprecision manufacturing team. This role involves setup operation and programming of CNC machines including 34 axis lathes mills and Swiss lathes. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative teamoriented environment where everyone is trained to handle all aspects of machining.
Technical Requirements
Experience with mills Swiss lathes and 34 axis lathes.
Strong knowledge of CNC machining setup and operation metrology and blueprint reading.
CNC programming experience (preferred but not mandatory).
Key Responsibilities
- CNC Machine Operation Setup operate and troubleshoot CNC machines including 34 axis lathes mills and Swiss lathes.
- Programming & Testing Write load and optimize CNC programs to meet exact specifications.
- Blueprint Reading Interpret technical drawings to ensure precise part production.
- Tooling & Fixture Management Select install and maintain the correct tooling for each job.
- Quality Control Inspect parts to ensure they meet tight tolerances and adjust as necessary.
- ProblemSolving Diagnose and resolve machining issues efficiently.
- Material Handling Load and unload materials while managing inventory.
- Safety Compliance Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean workspace.
