Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Designing developing and implementing front end code including user interface interactions and creating attractive and effective user interfaces
- Required to translate technical systems specifications into working tested applications. This includes developing detailed programming specifications writing and/or generating code compiling datadriven programs maintaining and conducting unit tests.
- Resolve and troubleshoot technical problems which arise during the use and operation of software packages including technical assistance in implementation conversion and migrations
Required Skills:
- Indepth understanding and handson experience of Core JavaScript
- Indepth knowledge and handson experience of the Angular framework and UX concepts
- Extensive handson experience with Angular Bootstrap HTML 5 JavaScript SCSS and Node.js
- Thorough knowledge of web markup HTML 5 CSS Bootstrap and UX concepts.
- Handson experience with RESTful API integration.
- Knowledge and understanding of Accessibility for Ontarians with Disability Act (AODA) and related regulations and standards
- Understanding of modern architectural practices for cloudbased solutions.
- Proven experience applying software engineering best practices and architectural practices to agile product delivery.
- Extensive experience with building complex APIbased solutions and transactional systems.
- Experience with code version control systems (e.g. Git) DevOps practices cloud delivery / deployment models virtualization and container solutions
- Experience with writing automated test scripts for unit integration and endtoend testing
- Deep knowledge of common authentication technologies browserbased security controls and standard web application security tools.
- Actively contributed to all phases of software development life cycle (particularly focusing on agile methodologies).
- Experience eliciting and documenting information from diverse business area stakeholders and subject matter experts
- Excellent analytical problemsolving and decisionmaking skills; verbal and written communication skills; interpersonal and negotiation skills
- A team player with a track record for meeting deadlines
- Experience in structured methodologies for the design development implementation and maintenance of applications
- Experience eliciting and documenting information from diverse business area stakeholders and subject matter experts

- Knowledge and experience coding and using basic artwork to deliver a complete user interface
- Experience creating web interfaces for large websites.
- Experienced with complex largescale systems
- Experience with Cross browser compatibility
- Experience with Responsive frameworks
- Experience with Social Media APIs
- Experience defining product strategy and roadmap
- Experience working with external third parties to assess partnerships and licensing opportunities runs beta and pilot programs with earlystage products and samples and becomes an expert with respect to the competition
Desirable Skills:
- Knowledge and experience with programming Internetready applications
- Knowledge and experience in rapid application development (RAD) methodologies
- Knowledge and understanding of Information Management principles concepts policies and practices
- Experience with middleware and gateways
- Experience reviewing analyzing and modifying product installation scripts including encoding testing debugging
- Ability to provide postimplementation support and resolve any postimplementation technical issues
- Experience conducting design walkthrough sessions with project team
- Knowledge and understanding of Accessibility for Ontarians with Disability Act (AODA) and related regulations and standards
- Ability to provide user and system documentation as required
Requirements
Technical Skills 60
- 5 yr Demonstrated experience in JAVAbased software development.
- 5 yr Demonstrated experience using Java SDK JEE Apache Ant Tomcat JavaScript.
- 3 yr Demonstrated experience in Spring framework Spring JDBC JSON Token (JWT) Restful API PLS/SQL Oracle DB.
- 3 yr Demonstrated experience in SpringBoot series: Eureka server Zuul Gateway SpringBoot web SpringBoot webservice SpringBoot data/JPA SwaggerUI tools Open UI tools Hudson/Jenkins Maven.
- 1 yr Desirable experience in Azure API Management.
- 3 yr Experience with the agile user story and defect management life cycle using Azure DevOPS or JIRA.
- 2 yr Front end development experience using: Angular 5 Bootstrap NodeJS NPM TypeScript HTML 5 CSS.
- Curam experience is a big plus
Automation Testing Skills 20
- 3 yr Experience in developing unit tests using Junit or TestNG.
- Experience participating in Test Data creation and analysis skills in agile scrum sprints.
- Experience participating in automation of Regression Testing in agile scrum sprints.
- Experience using SQL to verify data integrity in agile scrum sprints.
Knowledge of Methodologies 10
- Working knowledge of SDLC and the Agile development methodology.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience with RDBMS design concepts.
- Demonstrated experience in identifying risk and providing solutions.
Communication Skills 10
- Ability to build good working relationships.
