Job Description
- Partner with classroom teachers to support English language development across all subject areas.
- Provide oneonone and small group lessons to address the unique needs of ELL students.
- Create and maintain a positive inclusive and safe learning atmosphere where all students can thrive.
- Establish and maintain clear expectations for student behavior to promote a secure and effective learning environment.
- Regularly evaluate student progress and adjust instructional strategies to ensure continuous language development.
- Develop and execute instructional plans for English Language Learners (ELL) ensuring they meet both school and state guidelines.
Requirements
- Hold a Florida PEL with an ESL endorsement.
- Previous experience as an ESL Teacher or relevant role.
- Experience working with students of diverse language backgrounds.
- A bachelor s degree from an accredited university is required. A Master s degree in TESOL or a related field is a plus.
