Position: Motor Assembly Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional for a role focused on motor assembly manufacturing and testing with a strong emphasis on Brushless DC (BLDC) motors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Indepth Knowledge of Motor Assembly and Testing:
- Deep expertise in the motor assembly process particularly in BLDC motors.
- Knowledge of various steps in manufacturing and testing procedures.
- Study Customer Drawings and Define Manufacturing Process:
- Ability to analyze and interpret customer part drawings.
- Define manufacturing processes that meet machine precision tooling and testing requirements.
- Motor Assembly Machinery and Tooling:
- Familiarity with the machinery and tools required for motor assembly.
- Ability to select appropriate machines for the assembly process.
- Machine Parameter Setup:
- Set the machine parameters for optimal tooling and process efficiency.
- Implement Jigs/Fixtures and Controls:
- Use jigs fixtures and controls to ensure critical parameters in the motor manufacturing process are maintained.
- Troubleshooting and Process Improvement:
- Identify and resolve issues in the motor assembly process.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to improve the process.
- Handson Process Management and Team Training:
- Actively participate in the manufacturing process and guide teams on setting up motor manufacturing procedures.
- Train teams on best practices and troubleshooting techniques.
- Subpart Inspection and Acceptance Criteria:
- Ensure that subpart inspections are carried out according to specifications.
- Define and manage acceptance criteria for these subparts.
- Motor Assembly Specifications and Criteria:
- Knowledge of motor assembly specifications tolerances and final product requirements.
- Review specifications and acceptance criteria for final motor assemblies.
- Customer and Supplier Interaction:
- Participate in discussions with customers and suppliers regarding motor assembly processes.
- Coordinate on technical matters relating to assembly processes and subparts.
Qualification: Diploma / BE in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering.
Experience: Min. 8 years of technical experience in Motor assembly and testing.
