Job Description

Position: Motor Assembly Specialist

Work Location: Hyderabad


Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional for a role focused on motor assembly manufacturing and testing with a strong emphasis on Brushless DC (BLDC) motors.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Indepth Knowledge of Motor Assembly and Testing:
    • Deep expertise in the motor assembly process particularly in BLDC motors.
    • Knowledge of various steps in manufacturing and testing procedures.
  • Study Customer Drawings and Define Manufacturing Process:
    • Ability to analyze and interpret customer part drawings.
    • Define manufacturing processes that meet machine precision tooling and testing requirements.
  • Motor Assembly Machinery and Tooling:
    • Familiarity with the machinery and tools required for motor assembly.
    • Ability to select appropriate machines for the assembly process.
  • Machine Parameter Setup:
    • Set the machine parameters for optimal tooling and process efficiency.
  • Implement Jigs/Fixtures and Controls:
    • Use jigs fixtures and controls to ensure critical parameters in the motor manufacturing process are maintained.
  • Troubleshooting and Process Improvement:
    • Identify and resolve issues in the motor assembly process.
    • Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to improve the process.
  • Handson Process Management and Team Training:
    • Actively participate in the manufacturing process and guide teams on setting up motor manufacturing procedures.
    • Train teams on best practices and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Subpart Inspection and Acceptance Criteria:
    • Ensure that subpart inspections are carried out according to specifications.
    • Define and manage acceptance criteria for these subparts.
  • Motor Assembly Specifications and Criteria:
    • Knowledge of motor assembly specifications tolerances and final product requirements.
    • Review specifications and acceptance criteria for final motor assemblies.
  • Customer and Supplier Interaction:
    • Participate in discussions with customers and suppliers regarding motor assembly processes.
    • Coordinate on technical matters relating to assembly processes and subparts.

Qualification: Diploma / BE in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering.

Experience: Min. 8 years of technical experience in Motor assembly and testing.
