Job Description
Your tasks and responsibilities during your internship may include but not be limited to the following:
- Support design work in various areas of the mechanical discipline; HVAC plumbing central utility plants chilled water systems steam systems district heating and ancillary systems.
- Perform site visits to document field conditions including system tracing dimensioning of spaces review of documents and recording sitespecific conditions.
- Create design drawings utilizing 3D design software (Revit and/or CADWorx)
- Cooperate and communicate with other engineers designers and drafters assigned to the various phases of the project
- Assist other engineering disciplines to produce final construction drawings and details associated with various mechanical engineering projects.
- Perform checking of design drawings and specifications to ensure coordination and completeness
Qualifications :

- Candidates should be working toward a B.S or M.S degree in Mechanical engineering with an interest in pursuing a career in energy systems design with a concentration in central plants and thermal distribution systems.
- Candidates with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above are strongly preferred. Candidates with the completion of 4 college semesters (rising Junior status) are strongly preferred.
- Prior experience with design software preferred not required (AutoCAD Revit CADWorx)
