Hours: 37.5 Hours Per Week
Salary: $$70941 $88686 annually (To commensurate with experience and consistent with UHN compensation policy)
Shifts: MondayFriday
Status: Permanent FullTime

Position Summary:


The Laboratory Medicine Program (LMP) requires a Clinical Research Coordinator I to work within its central research operations office. The incumbent will be an integral part of the LMP Research Office working within a multidisciplinary team to support research studies requiring laboratory services within UHN as well as external partners. The incumbent requires previous experience in the coordination and administration of clinical research studies preferably with experience in laboratory medicine and research operations.

Duties:

  • Collaborate with Principal Investigators clinicians and multidisciplinary team members to support the triage and review of research studies requiring LMP expertise.
  • Liaise with study teams sponsors clinical operations and external colleagues to determine the feasibility of proposed clinical research studies.
  • Support the clinical and core research operations team with tasks related to data management business intelligence finances and process improvement.
  • Act as an ambassador and subject matter expert for clinical research operations and processes at LMP while exercising moderate independent judgement and decisionmaking using broadly defined policies practices and procedures to resolve a variety of complex problems.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelors degree or recognized equivalent in a health or sciencerelated discipline.
  • Certification with a recognized college for Medical Laboratory Technologists is an asset.
  • 3 years clinical and/or professional research experience. Experience working within a clinical laboratory and research operations environment is preferred.
  • Exceptional organization and timemanagement skills with the ability to multitask in a fastpaced time sensitive environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Customer service oriented with the ability to effectively work with diverse groups that may appreciate different opinions.
  • Ability to navigate through problems and seek advise and/or approval for resolution of complex problems.
