Job Description
Knowledge Skills and Experience
- 10 years relevant experience in a corporate or law firm setting with a preference for prior industry experience advising on the development of new product or servicebased solutions
- Candidates should have a strong understanding of core legal issues relating to Industry X including:
- Applications of cuttingedge technologies such as digital manufacturing digital twins Internet of Things/edge computing cloud computing embedded systems and artificial intelligence;
- Product liability in both businesstobusiness and businesstoconsumer contexts; and
- Applicable regulatory landscapes and their effect on product and service qualification development & launch (e.g. for hardware embedded systems and/or software).
- Candidates should ideally also have experience in:
- Risk identification analysis and management relating to product creation engineering and operational technology as distinct from information technology consulting;
- Drafting and negotiation of client and supplier agreements including understanding of intellectual property data privacy and data protection issues;
- Deal shaping and evaluation of new commercial models; and
- Developing trusted relationships with senior Business leaders.
Education and Qualifications:
Education: JD degree or equivalent degree or legal qualification and admitted to the bar (or local equivalent); in good standing or otherwise authorized to practice law.
Location: Flexible with the requirement for alignment with APACbased working hours
