Job Description
Position Description (scope of work or brief narrative):
The Principal consultant will be responsible for maintaining and operating applications supported by Infosys. The consultant will also design develop maintain and troubleshoot highperformance missioncritical applications to meet the companys strategic objectives. The candidate will have indepth knowledge of the technologies involved SDLC models (Waterfall and/or Agile) and the ITIL process.
Required years of experience training technical skills and other requirements for job performance:
- At least 11 years of experience with the HHS domain
- Working experience from at least 2 state projects
- At least 5 years of experience in requirement design and testing of applications
- Working knowledge of PL/SQL queries
- Experience and desire to work in a distributed delivery environment
- Able to play a crucial role in an operations and maintenance project
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of the IITL process and Agile Methodologies
- In the role of Principal Consultant you will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation Application Design and Development
- Play an important role in creating the detailed level design artifacts
- Deliver highquality deliverables perform validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation transition and warranty

Educational Requirements:
- A Bachelors Degree in Engineering or a foreign equivalent is required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive relevant work experience instead of every year of education.
The job entails sitting and working at a computer for extended periods. Should be able to communicate by telephone email or facetoface. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
