Education/Experience
- Bachelors degree in related field required
- 7 years of experience in the management of group practice or ambulatory setting
- 7 years of supervisory experience
- Clinical experience preferred but not required
- Experience with managing abudget
Knowledge
- Knowledge of organizational policies regulations and procedures to administer patient care
- Knowledge of clinical and clerical workflow within a medical practice
- Knowledge of adult training principles
- Knowledge of common safety hazards and precautions

Environmental/Working conditions
- Typical office medical practice environment. Pace varies from moderate to heavy activity. Occasional evening or weekend work.

General Summery/Overview: Coordinates the administrative and clinical aspects and facilitates the daily practice operation with commitment to providing the highest quality of service to patients in a multispecialty physician practice.
Essential functions:
- Participate in the planning and implementation of departmental goals programs and objectives personnel resources and equipment. Coordinate organize and direct all administrative and clinical processes for all areas within the site
- Oversee all functions that support the practice such as patient registration scheduling safety supply ordering etc.
- Collaborate with Human Resources Manager in selecting monitoring and evaluating all employees at the site. Oversee orientation/training including crosstraining to ensure staff availability/coverage requirements of the site
- Supervise staff and provide coaching to ensure the professional development of staff
- Monitor provider schedules to insure that appropriate staff are present and a reasonable number of patients are scheduled in order to best facilitate care for the patients in a timely manner. Work closely with the management team to provide a team approach to problem solving and work efficiency for all.
- Interact with patients in a courteous and sensitive manner resolving issues and responding to inquiries
- Develop and maintain systems and/or processes that measure the results of staff work/productivity volume patient/staff/provider satisfaction or other work improvement indicators. Collaborate with other peers providers and /or services to determine best practices desired outcomes and best method of achieving and reporting outcomes.
- Manage the budget for the site and ensure that all practice policies and procedures are being followed.
- Attends required meetings and participates in committees as requested
- Participates in professional development activities and maintains professional applications. Attends conferences and workshops
- Performs other duties as assigned.
