Job Description
This position provides oversight for the Human Research Protection Program at NewtonWellesley Hospital. This includes oversight of all research that is either sponsored by the institution conducted by or under the direction of any employee or agent of the institution in connection with his/her institutional responsibilities or uses the institutions private information to identify or contact human subjects. Works directly with the Chair of the Human Research and Investigation Committee The Medical Director of Research and the Director of Patient Safety and Clinical Quality to assure compliance with all applicable federal and state regulations and accreditation standards. This position oversees the Clinical Trial Program to provide tools and resources to investigators to conduct innovative clinical research.
