Job Description
we are committed to providing nutritious and delicious meals to children in our care. We are looking for a dedicated and passionate Cook to join our team and help create a positive mealtime experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook nutritious meals and snacks for children following dietary guidelines and menu plans.
- Maintain a clean organized and safe kitchen environment.
- Manage food inventory including ordering and storage.
- Accommodate special dietary needs and food allergies as required.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations including proper food handling and sanitation practices.
Qualifications:
- Experience in cooking for large groups or in a childcare/educational setting is a plus.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Ability to plan and prepare meals efficiently.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Positive attitude and ability to work collaboratively with staff.
