Food Technology Teacher Job Description:
As a Food Technology Teacher you will teach students how to cook healthy meals understand food science and apply practical cooking techniques. You will create exciting lessons that introduce students to a variety of cuisines ingredients and cooking methods. You will also assess students progress and support their development in foodrelated subjects.
Food Technology Teacher Key Responsibilities:
- Plan prepare and deliver engaging Food Technology lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Teach students practical cooking skills and food science concepts.
- Assess student work and provide feedback on their cooking techniques and progress.
- Collaborate with other teachers to enhance the Food Technology curriculum.

Qualifications:
- A degree in Food Technology Home Economics or a related field.
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching Food Technology at the secondary school level.
- A passion for food education and inspiring students in the kitchen.
- Strong organizational and classroom management skills.
