Your role as a Technical Sales Engineer
As a Technical Sales Engineer you will take ownership of driving the growth of the Public Address and Voice Alarm systems product category within Bosch Energy and Building Solutions B.V. You will report directly to the Business Line Manager and collaborate closely with crossfunctional teams to deliver comprehensive technical solutions.
You will be responsible for engaging with customers through both video calls and facetoface meetings providing deep technical expertise and tailored solutions. Your primary focus will be to cultivate longterm customer relationships while identifying and driving new business opportunities to expand market share. This role will be split between 50 new business development and 50 managing and supporting existing clients.
Key responsibilities include:
- Attending trade shows and industry events to showcase technical expertise represent the brand and strengthen market presence.
- Providing detailed technical support to customers including the preparation of product specifications technical configurations and system designs tailored to their specific needs.
- Collaborating with the Account Manager and the Product Manager to deliver accurate technical quotations ensuring alignment between customer requirements and product capabilities.
- Offering expert guidance on system integration providing technical training to clients and ensuring seamless project implementation.
- Delivering advanced technical and commercial support troubleshooting issues and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
This role requires a deep understanding of our products and solutions as well as the ability to effectively communicate complex technical information to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
Your tasks
In addition to visiting existing and new clients for Bosch you will undertake the following activities:
- Engage with customers through video calls or facetoface meetings addressing technical needs and offering tailored solutions.
- Drive business development by identifying new opportunities and nurturing customer relationships.
- Prepare technical quotations configurations and system designs based on customer requirements.
- Conduct product training and provide technical support to ensure successful system integration.
- Represent Bosch at trade shows and industry events showcasing our solutions.
- Offer both technical and commercial support to ensure seamless project .
Qualifications :
What you offer
- Bachelor in Sales/Business Marketing.
- 3 5 years of experience in a sales or business development role
- (preferably within the professional audio electronics fire evacuation or security industries).
- Strong business and marketing background with a proven ability to grow and maintain customer networks.
- Willing to travel 80 3 weeks a month) within Northern Europe and therefore living within The Netherlands or at maximum 3 hours drive from the Netherlands.
- You speak fluent English and preferably German. Any other language nice to have.
- You are commercial easy going professional and you are proactive.
