Job Description
What will you be doing
We are seeking a Vehicle Dynamics Simulation Engineer to join our expanding team. In this role you will be responsible for planning and developing virtual CAE dynamics performance to align with Kinematics & Compliance (K&C) and fullvehicle targets. Your work will involve building refining and validating CAE models using test data while closely collaborating with physical performance engineers to enhance vehicle dynamics.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Plan and execute CAE Dynamics Performance (K&C and full vehicle) to meet targets with a focus on EV/Hybrid vehicles.
- Develop and optimize hard points bushings springs dampers roll bars wheel frequencies steering and tire models using CAE.
- Define tuning component specifications in collaboration with the chassis team.
- Generate CAE vehicle setup sheets and cascade tuning ranges to the chassis function.
- Create and validate kinematics and multibody dynamics (MBD) simulation tools to improve efficiency (e.g. virtual rig test procedures postprocessing scripts).

Qualifications :
Experience skills and qualifications required:
- Strong theoretical knowledge of vehicle dynamics.
- Expertise in K&C axle data interpretation vehicle dynamics metrics targets and testing.
- Proficient in ADAMS Car (Adams View is a plus) and Matlab.
- Strong understanding of vehicle tuning techniques.
- Experience with DriverintheLoop (DiL) simulation is a plus.
- Collaborative mindset with experience working alongside physical performance engineers.
