We are seeking a highly skilled Correctional Officer to join our team. This fulltime role is ideal for experienced correctional professionals who can effectively supervise inmates maintain security and enforce institutional regulations. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring a safe and structured environment while overseeing inmate activities and compliance.
Requirements
Supervise and manage up to five 5 assigned inmates while ensuring compliance with facility rules.
Oversee inmate work assignments rehabilitation programs and daily activities to maintain order and discipline.
Conduct routine inspections of facilities and equipment to uphold security standards.
Accurately document incidents inmate behavior and operational activities in detailed reports.
Ensure proper use and accountability of uniforms tools and equipment issued to inmates.
Communicate effectively with facility staff inmates and external agencies when required.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Statecertified Correctional Officer with a minimum of three 3 years of experience in corrections.
- Valid Class B Driver s License with air brake endorsement and at least one 1 year of experience driving a commercial vehicle.
- Advanced Level Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) certification or equivalent.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise and manage inmate work crews professionally.
- Indepth knowledge of correctional facility operations and inmate management protocols.

- Hourly Pay: $17.00 $25.00 per hour (based on experience and qualifications).
