Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Supervise mentor and develop a team of sales executives setting clear goals monitoring performance and providing ongoing coaching and feedback.
- Develop and implement longterm logistics strategies aligned with overall business objectives optimizing resource allocation and improving operational efficiency.
- Oversee and manage the logistics budget controlling expenses identifying costsaving opportunities and ensuring adherence to financial guidelines.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers carriers and other logistics partners to ensure seamless operations competitive pricing and reliable service.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement within the supply chain implement innovative solutions to enhance efficiency reduce costs and address potential challenges.
- Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to logistics activities providing regular reports and insights to management.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations industry standards and company policies related to logistics and transportation.
- Proactively identify and resolve logisticsrelated issues minimizing disruptions and ensuring timely delivery of goods.
- Collaborate with other departments to optimize inventory levels and ensure accurate stock management.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks within the supply chain developing contingency plans to address unforeseen circumstance
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Logistics Supply Chain Management Business Administration or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing sales teams strategy development and achieving sales targets within a logistics or supply chain environment.
- Proven track record of successfully leading and motivating teams.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Excellent communication interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in logistics software and systems.
- Indepth knowledge of supply chain management principles and best practices.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong understanding of budgeting and financial management principles.
