You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe candidate will be part of a new clients department. This new department is a merger of several teams spread over several departments and locations all aiming at controlling and reducing the banks operational risk.
The candidate will be receiving analyzing and summarizing all requirements collected during meetings with OPC (Operational Permanent Control) teams and with the central Risk department of the bank to ensure an holistic view is completed. This candidate will then be responsible for translating these Business requirements into IT requirements that development teams will rely on to develop or enhance IT tools to automate and control these Risks. Specifically the candidate will be responsible for leading key Global initiatives. This role sits within the Client Engagement & Protect department allowing for opportunities to explore other topics within Prime Technology and beyond.
Key Responsibilities:
Defining high quality technical solutions in line with bank architectural standards within constraints of current technology platform. This can include the exploration and implementation of new technologies with enhance product offering and provide the company with a competitive edge.
Seek simplification and rationalization of the business systems and processes to improve straightthrough processing.
Helping the development of a new platform whilst ensuring integrity of existing production processes.
Participating in all stages of development from high level design estimation through more detailed design manage development unit testing and delivery.
Progressing topics either autonomously or leading offshore developers giving guidance mentoring and further development of the team. Planning of resource usage in line with assigned budget and timelines.
Engagement with other BA/PMs to provide input into analysis tasks and communication with business sponsors.
Progress monitoring reporting and escalation to ensure adequate management visibility of progress risks and issues.
Qualifications :
Experience in Information Technology/Project Management/Business Analysis
Ability to consolidate and present concise updates to senior management/ stakeholders
Ability to self manage and take initiative in resolving issues
Experience interacting/coordinating across teams globally
Familiarity with deployment of applications application releases and environments
Excellent verbal communication skills able to effectively communicate at all levels and across both functional and technical teams both offshore and onshore
Organized structured and proactive
Professional approach and conduct
Ability to build key relationships quickly appreciating others point of view
Able to work in a pressurized environment and to tight deadlines Being prepared to work long hours when essential
Very rigorous approach someone who takes a personal pride in their work
