Job Description
The Role:
- Fulltime KS5 History Specialist position with a focus on curriculum innovation and development.
- Deliver ALevel History lessons and contribute to the review and enhancement of the History curriculum.
- Provide excellent support and mentorship to Early Career Teachers (ECTs) within the department.
- Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies incorporating digital resources and technology.
- Foster a love of History among students encouraging them to explore diverse perspectives and historical interpretations.

- Strong understanding of ALevel History curriculum and assessment requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire and motivate students and colleagues.
- Ability to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies that cater to diverse learning needs.
- Commitment to providing excellent support and mentorship to ECTs.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or working towards it.
- Degree in History or a related field.
- Experience teaching ALevel History (for experienced teachers) or a strong interest in teaching at KS5 (for ECTs).
- Knowledge of current educational technologies and their application in the classroom.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
