Job description:
Role : Senior Site Reliability Engineer
Experience : 6 to 8 years
Roles & Responsibilities:
- L1/L2 Support: Provide direct support to platform users addressing technical incidents quickly.
- Cloud Monitoring & Operations: Set up maintain and configure monitoring and alerting tools for cloud environments (primarily Azure/GCP).
- Incident Management: Troubleshoot issues perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement fixes to prevent future incidents.
- Infrastructure Automation: Use Terraform to automate cloud resource provisioning and management.
- Python Scripting: Build scripts to automate various DevOps and cloud tasks improving operational efficiency.
- System Upgrades & Patching: Help manage upgrades and patching to ensure services are uptodate.
- Collaboration: Work with other teams (development security operations) to improve system reliability and performance.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Cloud Platforms: Handson experience with Azure and GCP for cloud monitoring and operations.
- Infrastructure Automation: Solid understanding of Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Python Scripting: Strong proficiency in Python for automation tasks.
- Monitoring & Logging: Familiarity with Splunk ServiceNow or similar tools.
- Incident Management: Deep understanding of troubleshooting incident resolution and performing Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
Version Control & CI/CD: Familiarity with Git and working knowledge of CI/CD pipeline processes.
Start: Immediate to 15 Days
Location: Bangalore India
Form of employment: Fulltime until further notice we apply 6 months probationary employment.
