What we need:
Mohawk is looking for CAD Technician who can do more with Mohawk.
The ideal candidate for this position will be responsible for creating seaming diagrams by working with the sales staff and internal departments to develop an overall installation plan that will be a winwin for the customer and for Mohawk.
What youll do:
- Work with designers and other internal andexternal personnel to develop highquality design documents using Auto CAD
- Perform drafting operations for the determination of project plans and collect data for those designs
- Maintain communication with sales designers engineers field service technicians andthe customer for any design/engineering issues. Confer with engineering and design staff to determine design modifications and enter editing information into the computer.
- Create detailed visuals that give information about dimensions and materials.
- Other duties as assigned.
What you have:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Proficiency in the use of AutoCAD
- Proficiency in mathematics as itrelates to carpet layouts pattern repeats and yardage calculations.
- force customers and installers
- A willingness to learn on the job and grow your career
- Understanding of carpet installation preferred

- Working collaboratively as part of a fastpaced team with strong personal organization poise and professionalism
- Able to handle multipleconflicting priorities and meet deadlines
- Effectively communicate to work efficiently with internal departments sales force customers and installers.
- Driving optimization and results through reporting and analytics
- Reading measuring andcomprehending blueprints
