Memebers of AES supply chain team are responsible for all of the steps involved in getting products and materials from suppliers for gas power plants hydroelectric power plants and renewable energy (including wind photovoltaic solar battery storage). Activities include materials procurement; demand inventory planning; movement storage and inventory control of materials; vendor selection; and distribution. The positions at AES include: Direct Procurement Strategic Sourcing Indirect Procurement Category Managers Logistics and Support
We will consider you to positions such as (all levels): Planning Procurement (direct and indirect) logistics & warehousing fuel supply amongst others. Demonstrated success with direct contract negotiations with Tier 1 suppliers and/or international suppliers is a requirement for most positions in this group.
