Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging preplanned lessons across the primary age range in the absence of the class teacher.
- Provide targeted support through small group work and onetoone interventions helping to raise attainment and address individual learning needs.
- Collaborate closely with teachers to plan deliver and evaluate creative learning activities that align with the curriculum.
- Monitor and assess pupil progress providing insightful feedback to both teaching staff and parents to support student development.
- Promote a positive inclusive and stimulating learning environment where every child feels valued and empowered to succeed.
- Assist with the preparation of learning materials and classroom resources to enhance the educational experience.
- Contribute to the wider school community by participating in extracurricular activities and special events as required.
Requirements:
- HLTA qualification or significant experience working at HLTA level.
- Proven track record of supporting primaryaged children in an educational setting.
- Confidence in delivering lessons across the primary curriculum with a clear adaptable communication style.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students staff and parents.
- A flexible proactive approach with a passion for supporting the educational and personal development of children.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively in a fastpaced environment.
