Job Description:
We are looking for an exceptional Science Teacher who is committed to delivering highquality science education to students at various levels. As a Science Teacher you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons assessing students progress and contributing to the overall development of the science curriculum. You will work collaboratively with other teachers and staff to create a positive supportive and stimulating learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan prepare and deliver engaging science lessons across different year groups as a Science Teacher.
- Assess monitor and report on student progress providing regular feedback to students and parents.
- Develop and implement effective teaching strategies to cater to different learning styles and abilities.
- Collaborate with other Science Teachers and staff to share best practices and contribute to the development of the science curriculum.
- Maintain a safe respectful and inclusive classroom environment that fosters student growth and development.
- Participate in extracurricular activities and school events as a representative of the Science Teacher team.
- Stay uptodate with current developments in science education and incorporate new teaching methods into your practice.
Qualifications:
- A relevant degree in Science (Physics Chemistry Biology or a related field).
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Proven experience teaching science at the secondary school level (or relevant teaching experience).
- Strong knowledge of science curriculum and effective teaching methods.
- A passion for science education and a commitment to inspiring students as a Science Teacher.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and motivate students.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage classroom dynamics effectively.
