Job Description
Our client a leading manufacturing company in the Boston area is seeking a CADLink & ECxManager Integration Specialist to assist with the implementation and integration of CADLink and ECxManager within Epicor Kinetic Cloud ERP. This role will involve configuring testing and optimizing data synchronization between CAD systems and Epicor while ensuring efficient engineering change management and quality control workflows.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Epicor Kinetic Cloud with expertise in CADLink ECxManager and Epicor Quality to support BOM management engineering change control and compliance requirements in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and configure CADLink for seamless integration between CAD software (e.g. SOLIDWORKS AutoCAD Inventor) and Epicor Kinetic Cloud.
- Set up ECxManager to streamline engineering change management (ECM) workflows including approval processes part revisions and compliance tracking.
- Configure Epicor Quality Management (EQM) to enhance product quality tracking and compliance with industry standards.
- Map and validate BOM structures part numbers and attributes between CAD and Epicor to ensure data accuracy.
- Develop and enforce data governance standards for BOM change control and quality assurance processes.
- Work with engineering manufacturing and IT teams to troubleshoot and optimize system performance.
- Conduct testing user training and documentation to support system adoption across teams.
- Provide postimplementation support and continuous process optimization.
Required Qualifications:
3 years of experience working with Epicor Kinetic in a manufacturing environment.
Handson experience implementing CADLink and/or ECxManager in Epicor ERP.
Strong knowledge of Epicor Quality (EQM) for managing product quality audits and compliance.
Deep understanding of BOM structures revision control and engineering change management.
Proficiency in SQL queries Epicor BAQs BPMs and REST APIs for integration support.
Experience with CAD software such as SOLIDWORKS AutoCAD or Inventor.
Ability to troubleshoot data discrepancies optimize workflows and improve system efficiency.
Strong documentation and user training skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Epicor Product Lifecycle Management (PLM).
Background in manufacturing or engineering environments.
Knowledge of ERP system migrations or implementations.
Work Environment & Schedule:
- Hybrid role: Mostly remote with onsite visits required in the Boston area.
- Flexible schedule with project milestones and deadlines.
- Must be available for key implementation phases and team meetings in person.
