What will you be doing
As a Mechanical Handling Engineer you will join a team in Derby to support our activities within the Nuclear Sector.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Specification design and implementation of mechanical handling equipment /heavy machinery such as cranes conveyers and lifting systems.
- Undertake mechanical design and assessment to ensure compliance with safety and engineering standards.
- Hand calculations to support mechanical design and analysis.
- Responsible for preparing Mechanical handling study report and presentations.
Who are we looking for
- Strong ability to produce technical documentation including design requirements and optioneering records.
- Experience working on fuel route mechanical handling equipment.
- Experience in oil&gas nuclear or heavy machinery industries (preferred).

Qualifications :
Experience skills and qualifications required:
- Bachelors or masters degree in mechanical engineering mechatronics engineering structural engineering or a field related in engineering.
- Shall be highly proactive and involve in everyday coordination to quickly understand and resolve the issues.
- Shall have very good presentation and communication skills.
