Job Description
Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and responsible intern for a fulltime 8week summer internship. In this position you will gain handson experience under the guidance of our talented professionals.

This position will be based onsite (not remote) at Wonderful Citrus located in Delano CA. This schedule for this internship is 40 hours per week MondayFriday. Days of the week and work hours may change due to business needs.
Heres what youll do:
- Gain understanding of Food Safety regulations and Quality Control standards
- Maintain and track records to ensure food safety practices are adhered to
- Support the QC team in inspecting products to ensure compliance with company standards and specifications
- Help collect analyze and interpret data related to food safety trends and incidents identifying areas for improvement
- Accurately document quality checks and inspections maintaining uptodate records of findings and reports
- Identify develop and support continuous improvement opportunities
- Update and develop departmental SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures)
- Assist with WOW projects and identifying quick wins
- Provide general administrative support to the Food Safety and QC team
Qualifications :
Heres what youll bring to the table:
- Must be a current Wonderful Scholar
- High School Diploma/General Education Diploma and currently pursuing a Bachelors degree or Masters degree in Business Management Food Safety/Science or related
- Must upload a resume professional reference and cover letter with your application
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Minimum of beginner proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook Word Excel PowerPoint)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Selfdirected and able to work autonomously
- Energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas
Pay Rate: $18.50 per hour.
