The Team:
Join the highly regarded highperformance Octopus Investments retail sales teamthe driving force behind our success. As an External Business Development Manager (EBDM) you will educate and sell to a network of Independent Financial Advisers (IFAs) driving sales into our innovative investment products.

What will you be doing
As the successful candidate you will:
Develop and execute a regional sales strategy including retaining growing and nurturing relationships with a network of Financial Advisers and Private Banks to maximize sales opportunities for the Octopus Investments product range through facetoface meetings events and presentations.
Collaborate with Internal Business Development Managers to create and deliver a regional business plan ensuring strategic directions are met by developing pipeline and closing opportunities.
Understand and effectively communicate a complex suite of solutions to Financial Advisers.
Work seamlessly with Fund Managers and Business Line Managers to ensure products and messaging aligns with customer needs.
Always act with the customers best interest in mind demonstrating a customerobsessed approach.
Qualifications :
Ideally youll have:
Proven experience delivering highquality results in a business development role preferably within the Financial Services sector.
A track record of growth through existing relationships and the ability to attract and cement new business relationships.
Exceptional interpersonal skills that emanate honesty and integrity.
A clear concise and articulate communication style with the ability to be influential.
Drive ambition and selfmotivation.
