Job Description
We are seeking a Nurse Supervisor for a 13week travel/contract assignment in Rochester New York. Both local and traveler candidates are welcome to apply.
Job Details:
- Shift: Rotating; 1 positions E/N MondayFriday and D/N on weekends
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Weekly Pay Rate: $2304 $2592
Job Summary:
The Nurse Supervisor will oversee nursing staff ensuring the delivery of highquality patient care. This role requires leadership in supervising staff patient care management and ensuring compliance with healthcare standards during rotating shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate nursing staff to ensure efficient patient care.
- Monitor patient care delivery ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to nursing staff promoting professional development.
- Assist in staffing scheduling and performance evaluations of nurses.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and accreditation standards.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
- Handle patient concerns and ensure quality assurance in nursing services.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Education:
- ASN/BSN or equivalent (BSN preferred).
License:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State.
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 3 years of nursing experience including at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role. Inpatient supervisory experience is required.
Certification Requirements:
- BLS (Basic Life Support); ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) required.
Skills:
- Strong leadership communication and problemsolving abilities.
Travel & Local Considerations:
- Candidates outside a 75mile radius qualify for travel pay.
