Job Description

100 onsite Manufacturing Equipment Support Technician in Tualatin OR.

Must pass preemployment drug and background check screenings.

ASAP start 6 12month duration possible temp to hire opportunity

Interview will consist of 1 phone interview & 1 in person interview with 12 client hiring managers

Skills:

Must understand a practice Lock Out Tag Out

Strong electrical mechanical & pneumatic troubleshooting experience

Should be familiar with basic microcomputer skills necessary to understand the operation and interfacing characteristics of microprocessors.

This includes I/O and interfacing concepts software interaction applications programming languages and techniques.

Should be able to work under pressure and make decisions based on the needs of stakeholders

Should have familiarity with Windows & Linux operating systems.

Must be able to troubleshoot network printer driver & software issues

Needs to regularly read and update technical documentation & schematics

Familiarity with C#/C/LabView/NodRed programming a plus

Familiarity with PLCs a plus

What you will do:

Identify and troubleshoot process material or equipment problems to minimize down time.

Identify & recommend solutions to manufacturing engineering and Test & Automation engineering teams to fix equipment & process issues

Install maintain dismantle repair overhaul and rebuild electrical mechanical pneumatic and electronic equipment and components

Perform equipment calibrations & coordinate on/offsite calibrations

Conduct regular preventative maintenance tasks

Maintain spare parts inventory

Regularly document activities & maintain troubleshooting documentation

Support & deploy digital smart factory tools in the facility

Promote & support lean manufacturing activities

Maintain & improve 5S in own areas

Promote a safety & quality first culture

Must regularly communicate with technical peers.

This job might be for you if:

2year degree in electromechanical electronic technology or equivalent education and a minimum of two years of electromechanical work experience OR five plus years of experience in a related field

Must be familiar with standard recognized troubleshooting practices.

Must be able to reference National Electrical Codes

Must be able to read mechanical blueprints/wiring diagrams or schematics.



Lock Out Tag Out, Windows & Linux operating systems, Electro-mechanical and mechanical blueprints/wiring diagrams, National Electrical Codes, C#/C++/LabView/NodRed and PLC Is a plus,

Education

2-year degree in electro-mechanical, electronic technology, or equivalent education AND a minimum of two years of electromechanical work experience OR five plus years of experience in a related field.
