Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Occupational Therapist providing schoolbased therapy services to students in the Bronx. This position offers an emergency rate for therapists working in Bronx schools.
$110 per hour.
Responsibilities:
- Assess students fine motor sensory and functional skills to implement individualized therapy plans.
- Provide direct occupational therapy services in a school setting to help students improve their academic participation and daily living skills.
- Collaborate with teachers school staff and families to support students needs and ensure effective interventions.
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation of therapy sessions assessments and progress reports.
- Provide guidance on adaptive equipment and strategies to enhance students classroom independence.

Requirements
Qualifications:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist in New York State.
- Familiarity with schoolbased therapy and early intervention strategies preferred.
