Job Description

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager the Inventory Coordinator is mainly responsible for inventory maintenance and accuracy related to daytoday inventory operations including managing counting allocating placement analyzing and troubleshooting inventory items.

Responsibilities:

  • Review improve and develop inventory counting and replenishment strategies programs and processes.
  • Coordinate oversee and perform daily monthly annual and on request inventory counts and cycle counts including reconciliation for all inventory.
  • Investigate and resolve reported inventory discrepancies.
  • Develop and coordinate storage rules based on replenishment plans. 
  • Coordinate and perform location and item maintenance including consolidation FIFO management and transferring inventory per inventory and warehouse layout plans.
  • Coordinate and perform putaway from Receiving and RMA departments.
  • Develop and provide reporting to Drexel management and customers as required.
  • Analyze and critique existing practices and offer improvement solutions where applicable.
  • Participate in strategic planning meetings with Management Team.
  • Other duties as required.

Qualifications :

What we are looking for:

  • Minimum 5 years experience in a Warehouse Inventory Coordinator or relevant role.
  • Experience operating counter balance and reach forklifts and powered walkies.
  • Ability to lift 50lbs.
  • Experience using inventory management and WMS systems RF scanners Microsoft Excel and Label making software.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fastpaced environment.
