Job Description
Role: IOT Architect
Location: Anywhere in Canada but ready to travel to US when required
Job Description: The Senior Industrial IoT Architect to lead the design and implementation of advanced IoT solutions aimed at digitalizing plant environments. This role focuses on integrating IoT PLC and SCADA systems while leveraging Industry 4.0 concepts and cloud architecture to enhance operational efficiency and productivity.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement scalable IoT architectures for plant environments ensuring alignment with ISA95 architecture principles.
- Lead the integration of manufacturing shop floor systems including PLCs and SCADA into Edge and Cloud Platforms for realtime monitoring and data collection.
- Drive the adoption of Industry 4.0 concepts utilizing smart sensors connectivity and data analytics to optimize plant processes.
- Actively participate in the development and deployment of IoT applications ensuring they meet business requirements and industry standards.
- Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements provide updates and ensure successful implementation of IoT initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in computer science / Related streams
- 10 years of experience in industrial automation IoT ISA95 architecture concepts and data integration with Edge and Cloud Platforms.
- Strong understanding of Industry 4.0 concepts process plants and environments.
- Proficient in IoT PLC and SCADA integration Azure Technologies
- Ability to lead a team and work collaboratively with multiple teams and stakeholders.
- Strong communication skills capable of conveying complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
