Job Description
Overview:
We are a leading retail B2B SaaS company looking for a seasoned Business Finance Manager with 5 years of experience to drive financial planning analysis and strategic decisionmaking. This role will serve as a key partner to leadership delivering actionable insights to enhance financial performance and support business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
- Responsible for overseeing and managing the budgeting forecasting and financial planning processes.
- Responsible for conducting detailed financial analysis to identify trends risks and opportunities for strategic decisionmaking.
- Responsible for preparing and presenting comprehensive financial reports including variance analysis and recommendations.
Revenue Cost Management & Business Growth
- Responsible for monitoring and optimizing SaaS revenue streams pricing strategies and cost structures.
- Responsible for identifying costsaving opportunities and improving financial efficiency across departments.
- Responsible for evaluating new business opportunities investments and projects by conducting financial feasibility and risk assessments.
Investor Relations & Fund Management
- Responsible for managing relationships with investors stakeholders and financial institutions.
- Responsible for supporting fundraising activities including preparing financial models investor decks and due diligence documentation.
- Responsible for developing strategic insights and reports for investor communication and board presentations.
- Responsible for analyzing market trends and financial benchmarks to position the company for future investments and funding rounds.
Business Strategy & Performance Monitoring
- Responsible for partnering with business units to develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics.
- Responsible for collaborating with leadership to assess the financial impact of business decisions and ensure profitability.
- Responsible for driving process improvements to enhance efficiency in financial operations and reporting.
Financial Compliance & Risk Management
- Responsible for ensuring compliance with financial regulations corporate policies and accounting standards.
- Responsible for liaising with internal and external auditors tax consultants and legal teams for audits and regulatory matters.
- Responsible for managing financial controls and implementing risk assessment frameworks.
Requirements
Benefits
MBA in Finance, CFA, or a relevant postgraduate degree in finance, accounting, or economics from a reputed institution. 5+ years of experience in business finance, FP&A, investor relations, or financial strategy in a SaaS or technology-driven environment. Strong expertise in SaaS financial modeling, revenue recognition, and subscription-based financial structures. Experience in fundraising, investor relations, and managing financial due diligence. Proficiency in financial planning tools, Excel, and BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.. Solid understanding of accounting principles, taxation, and compliance. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
