Job Description
Overview
Monterey Park Hospital located in the San Gabriel Valley of Los Angeles is a 101 bed acute care community hospital. Monterey Park Hospital has provided our community with advanced medical and culturally sensitive healthcare services for over 50 years. Monterey Park Hospital is recruiting for a part time night shift Nursing Supervisor. This position reports to the Chief Nursing Officer. This is a 12hour shift position. The first 8 hours are compensated at the regular base rate and the remaining 4 hours are paid at the applicable overtime rate.
Responsibilities
The Nursing Supervisor serves as the onsite administrative resource for the facility. The Nursing Supervisor collaborates coordinates and communicates with administration physicians and the entire management team to facilitate the delivery of quality patient care. The Nursing Supervisor serves as a role model by providing leadership and expertise and acts as a clinical resource for other members of the interdisciplinary team. The Nursing Supervisor responds to the needs and requests of others quickly and efficiently and assists others in completing tasks or duties for improved customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- BSN preferred.
- 3 years in the role of Administrative Supervisor preferred.
- Current California RN license current BCLS and ACLS required. PALS preferred.
- AB 508 training Management of ive Behavior (MAB) or Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification preferred.
