The Company
Our clientis a leading organisation in the engineering sector specialising in satellite communication (satcom) projects andhightech engineering solutions. They provide expertise in the installationtesting and commissioning of electrical and mechanical infrastructure controlsystems radio frequency and IP networks. This apprenticeship offers afantastic opportunity to gain handson experience and develop technical skillswithin an established and innovative company.
The Position

Location:
Basingstoke Hampshire
Working Hours:
37.5 hours per week (Monday Friday 8.30am 5pm with 1 hour lunch)
Salary:
15000 per annum
Role and Responsibilities:
Support and gainexpertise in SATCOM projects including the installation testing andcommissioning of electrical and mechanical infrastructure control systems RFand IP networks.
Develop a deeperunderstanding of the equipment repaired by our client enhancing both technicaland practical knowledge.
Utilise RF and telecomstest equipment to support engineering activities.
Develop faultfindingskills to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
Gain applicationknowledge in IP networks video transmission RF systems and systembuilding/testing.
Adhere to all relevanthealth and safety regulations and company policies to prevent workplaceaccidents and injuries.
Identify potentialhazards in the workplace and implement measures to mitigate risks.
Maintain high standardsof work quality and ensure compliance with company procedures and standards.
