Determine and communicate order cost; operate the electronic cash register; check and count money to assure accuracy of register and receipts
Prepare coffee beverages and related orders according to specific instructions
Perform a variety of food service assignments including the preparation and setup of the caf food and service area food preparation and maintaining cleanliness of area and equipment
Requirements:
Ability to read write and speak English well enough to follow verbal and written instructions perform calculations and use an adding machine and POS system accurately handle money deal effectively with a wide variety of staff and customers and use direct reading devices where interpretation is not required.
3 months food service or cashier experience in order to gain cashier and moneyhandling skills and expertise with customer service portion control short order food preparation sanitation and safe operation of caf equipment.
