As an Assistant Executive Steward at The Beverly Hills Hotel your compensation will range between $68000$70720 per year
As one of the key gate keepers of kitchen cleanliness hygiene and food safety aday in the life of our Assistant Executive Steward demands high levels of energy in order to keep up. They need consistency even though the days are never alike; and creativity to tackle daily adventures. Listing all of the tasks that our Assistant Executive Steward accomplishes would be lengthy but the list below is essential to know.
Ensure the cleanliness of Kitchen: walkin refrigeration/freezer units; stationary and mobile equipment; all kitchen surfaces floor wall and ceiling ventilation screens; Banquet service hallways
Ensures the cleanliness of Equipment: all mobile carts and equipment; small wares flatware glassware; garbage cans and areas.
Kitchen sanitation supplies kitchen (hand soap paper towels dishwashing and burnishing products grill blocks screens etc..
Manage china glass and silver inventories within operational breakage allowances
Establishes controls to guard against theft and waste.
Schedule and coordination of all noncooking kitchen personnel engaged in activities such as dishwashing burnishing (brass copper and silver) kitchen garbage recycling and disposal night cleaning storage and distribution of food stuffs and supplies.
Manages equipment stores and generate necessary equipment requisitions.
Manages banquet equipment needs and turnover distribution and stewarding staffing needs.
Kitchen maintenance and cleaning request scheduling.
Garbage recycling and disposal.
Equipment storage area inspections.
Participate in inventories.
Support Capital Projects for FF&E and OS&E in F&B
Participate in Kitchen Inspections.
Attend weekly Department Head Food & Beverage Catering and Kitchen meetings.
Conduct weekly supervisory stewarding meetings
Proficient use of all department equipment.
