Job Description
- Free food & snacks
Camp Schedule: June 2 to Aug 15
- Camps are one week in duration running multiple weeks throughout the summer.
- Instructors will teach the same camp each week at different locations around St. Louis.
- As a Mad Scientist you will lead students through an inquirybased discovery method involving instructor demonstrations handson activities and amazing takehome projects that will illustrate how science affects the world around us. Mad Science is the worlds leading provider of fun science programs for elementaryaged children.
- Lead weeklong fullday science summer camps using a preset curriculum.
- Teach a highenergy part entertainment part education handson camp from 8:30 am3:30 pm Monday through Friday.
- Most important: Get kids excited about science!
- Passion for teaching and inspiring young minds.
- Background in education or related fields preferred.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage and engage a group of elementaryaged children.
- Reliable transportation to travel to different camp locations in St. Louis.
