Job Description

At Johnson Controls were thrilled to invite passionate individuals from diverse backgrounds to join our dynamic Fire Suppression Engineering team. Under the guidance of experienced mentors youll gain invaluable practical experience and access to stateoftheart training facilities in a welcoming and inclusive environment.

We have a unique opportunity for an Apprentice Mechanical Fire Pump Engineer where youll earn while you learn! We will teach you how to install service test and repair fire suppression Pump systems and equipment in accordance with relevant service standards and specifications.

As an apprentice youll engage in a handson learning experience developing new skills while building connections with our knowledgeable staff.

What Youll Do at Work

  • Service test and install the appropriate Fire Suppression systems and pumps; disassemble and reconstruct equipment.

  • Perform installation/servicing/testing and repairs on systems and equipment in accordance with relevant standards and specifications.

  • Install systems and equipment based on relevant fabrication drawings and specifications.

  • Accurately complete engineering work reports handover certificates and pressure test certificates or checklists as required.

  • Undertake other duties as assigned by your line manager.

Where Youll Work

You will be expected to cover the Midlands and the North of England. Further UK travel may be so working away and occasionally staying over in hotels may be .
