Job Description
The Opportunity:
The Dishwasher is responsible for operating the dishwashing machine to wash designated community and kitchenwares; washing pots pans and other kitchen utensils and equipment; cleaning and maintaining dishwashing/kitchen areas; completing other cleaning projects as assigned. The Dishwasher may also perform basic food preparation and serving duties.
Key Responsibilities:
Washes dishes glassware flatware pots and pans using dishwasher or by hand
Unload dishwasher and store items properly
Ensure all equipment is cleaned after use
Ensure the kitchen is kept clean and sorts and removes trash
Assist with receiving and proper storage of supplies
Transfer supplies and equipment between storage kitchen and work areas by hand or cart
May assist in preparing food items and or serving
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
Must be fluent in English both orally and in writing
Previous experience as a dishwasher would be an asset
Must be able to follow direction and capable of routine work with minimal supervision
Must be motivated and consistently demonstrate AgeCares values
