Cashier Job Description

Cashiers are responsible for taking payments from customers making change and giving receipts. Depending on the location they are responsible for operating a computer terminal or cash register. Daily Station Reports are required which may include the incorporation of reports from the parking management system. You will perform duties that relate directly to offering exemplary customer service to our guests. You may be required to ensure that charges are posted to guests rooms track tickets & keys and answer requests for items retrieved from cars.

  • Communicate with guest
  • Dealing with money
  • Complete DSR (daily station reports)
  • Hand out tickets (self parking)
  • Post tickets (Self parking/ Valet)
  • Answer the telephone from guests
  • Request cars for guests

Requirements

  • Minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Above average mathematical skills
  • Ability to balance paperwork
  • Prior experience as a cashier is preferred
  • Prior experience working in the hospitality industry is preferred
