  • Provide corporate banking services to a large base of listed and private Swiss multinational groups and large corporates as well as Swiss Financial Institutions both banks and nonbanks

Your role and work environment

We offer an exciting opportunity for an ambitious selfstarter with a strong commercial drive to join our Zurichbased team. The role requires an individual who can bring in relevant relationship management experience corporate banking product expertise and seasoned influencing skills working closely with other teams in the organization across the banks international network. The individual shares the ambition to become a leading corporate banking partner for companies in this region.

Key responsibilities

Responsible for the quality and depth of client relationships and overall financial performance of corporate clients in the assigned client portfolio and for the acquisition of prospective clients. Main duties and responsibilities include:

  • Managing and further developing existing business relationships by enhancing the product and geographical coverage
  • Identifying and origination new business opportunities with prospective clients in accordance with the banks growth strategy and risk appetite
  • Marketing the full range of INGs products and services to act as the banks representative to clients and prospects up to Board Level
  • Originating leading negotiating and closing new transactions in close cooperation with the relevant product specialists
  • Acting as the first point of contact for the client and relevant internal stakeholders across products and network countries
  • Developing strategic client account plans considering client needs business potential and appropriate risk allocation
  • Responsible for the credit quality KYC validity and other regulatory requirements of the portfolio
  • Developing and coordinating knowledge sharing fostering a culture of collaboration client focus continuous improvement and innovation within the team

What are we looking for

  • You have a masters degree in finance banking economics or other relevant discipline equivalent work experience and/ or a relevant certification (e.g. CFA)
  • A minimum of 57 years of commercial work experience including relationship management/ origination combined with corporate banking product expertise
  • Excellent communication influencing and negotiation skills
  • Proven ability to build and develop client relationships win new business mandates close transactions and develop networks both internally and externally
  • Good credit risk knowledge as well as knowledge of TS FM DCM and advisory products
  • Relevant KYC and compliance knowledge and experience
  • capabilities and the ability to drive and coordinate processes end to end
  • Resultsoriented with a positive mindset to contribute to overall team results
  • Strong team player selfmotivated with high work ethics
  • You are fluent in English with German and/ or French being an asset
