Job Description
Job Title: CMM Programmer/Operator
Shift: 2nd shift
Compensation: $2427
The JobSquad Solutions is currently looking for a CMM Programmer to work at a company located in the Lansing area!
Youll be responsible for utilizing your programming skills to conduct precise part layouts evaluate CMM data accuracy and maintain our equipment to the highest standards.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct precise part layouts to meet customer requirements.
- Evaluate CMM data accuracy before submission.
- Prepare reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Write CMM programs and maintain CMM software.
- Assist in First Article Inspections (FAI).
- Train team members on blueprint reading and CMM usage.
- Collaborate with customers contractors and suppliers as needed.
- Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement activities.
- Support plant activities to achieve quality and productivity goals.
Requirements:
- Experience as a CMM programmer/operator preferred.
- Knowledge of Quality Systems such as ISO 9001 AS9100 etc.
- Proficiency in technical math CAD and GD&T.
- Ability to read blueprints and work with models.
- Strong organizational analytical and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree preferred.
**Additional Information:**
This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
Must adhere to company policies procedures and regulatory requirements.
Other duties may be assigned as needed.
