This posting establishes a pool of candidates to fill temporary nontenuretrack lecturer positions in Urban & Regional Planning. This posting does not necessarily reflect a current open position. Appointments will be parttime (less than 50 and will be made semesterbysemester as teaching needs arise. This temporary Lecturer pool is anticipated to remain continuously active through August 2025 at which point all applications will be cleared from the pool. Applicants will be welcome to apply to future pools after that date.

Lecturer
What you will do:

The Department of Urban and Regional Planningin the College of Architecture and Planning at the University of Colorado Denver is seeking a pool of Lecturers from which future appointments will be made. Lecturers selected from this pool will teach in the Colleges graduate program. Classes taught may range from three to six credit hours and may include lectures seminars and studios in all teaching modes (inperson hybrid online remote).

Compensation and Benefits
The hiring rate (or budgeted rate) for this position has been established at:

$5618 for a 3credit hour course.

$8322 for a 6credit hour course.

The salary of the finalistselected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors including but not limited to internal equity experience education specialty and training.

The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the Universitys good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.

This position is not eligible for overtime compensation.

This parttime appointment is not eligible for group health life insurance or retirement benefits.
