THIS POSITION IS IN TAHLEQUAH OKLAHOMA
PositionSummary:
TheMedical Library Manager provides leadership and management of the OklahomaState University College of Osteopathic MedicineCherokee Nation (OSUCOMCN)Medical Library as the primary provider of biomedical information services forthe OSUCOMCN campus. This position plans develops and evaluates libraryresources services and CN campus library staff. As needed this positionproctors library testing center exams and provides coverage for the circulationdesk.
To fulfill the goals and mission of the Medical Library this position performsadditional duties as assigned.

Position Qualifications:
Qualifications:
Mastersdegree in Library Science accredited byAmerican Library Association orrelated education
Three 3 or more years librarian experience.
Valid Drivers License
Skills Proficiencies and Knowledge:
Abilityto supervise and lead an academic medical library branch
Knowledge of medical library leadership best practices
Ability to provide medical library reference and instruction
Ability to develop and document library database searches
Ability to develop and document technical instructions
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with colleagues in amultisite environment
PreferredExperience:
Medical or academic librarianship with somesupervisory responsibilities.
