Alpha Media is looking for an energetic Sales Assistant in Topeka Kansas. This role primarily supports our sales team by managing administrative tasks generating sales leads scheduling appointments preparing sales materials maintaining client databases and ensuring the smooth of advertising campaigns. This role also oversees promotions and marketing for our stations and clients essentially working in a key operational support role to facilitate the sales process and achieve revenue goals. The position is a good introduction to the inner workings of radio and digital advertising.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead generation: Research potential clients identifying contact information and creating qualified lead lists for sales representatives.
Sales data management: Helping maintain client information tracking sales activity and updating CRM systems with details on sales calls proposals and contracts.
Appointment scheduling: Helping coordinate meetings between sales reps and prospective clients.
Proposal preparation: Assisting in creating customized sales presentations and proposals based on client needs.
Traffic coordination: Entering advertising orders and creative instructions for the traffic department.
Client communication: Answering client inquiries providing updates on campaign performance and addressing concerns.
Sales reporting: Generating reports on sales metrics campaign results and revenue performance.
Administrative tasks: Managing sales team paperwork and coordinating logistics for sales events.
Skills and Qualifications:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational and time management abilities
Proficiency in G Suite programs
Basic understanding of radio and digital advertising and sales processes
Detailoriented with a focus on accuracy
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Effective and professional written and verbal communication skills
This is an entrylevel position but preference may be given to candidates who have previous experience in broadcast and digital media.
