Job Description

Supplemental Information
- This position is overtime eligible based FLSA Standards.
- This position is unclassified per Section 124.11(A)29.
- The final candidate selected for this position will be required to undergo a criminal background check. Criminal convictions do not necessarily preclude an applicant from consideration for a position. An individual assessment of an applicants prior criminal convictions will be made before excluding an applicant from consideration.

UNUSUAL WORKING CONDITIONS:
May be exposed to dirt dust fumes & noise; may be exposed to inclement weather; may work weekends.
Formal education in arithmetic that includes addition subtraction multiplication & division. In accordance with Section 124.11 (B)2 of Revised Code Director of Administrative Services has determined this classification to be unskilled labor class & therefore exempt from written examination.
Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications for Employment noted above.

2025 Summer Laborer (Coshocton County)
What You Will Do:
- Flag/traffic control for highway maintenance
- Drive pickup truck to set out/pick up signs & follow mowing crew
- Roadside litter pickup clean &/or wash vehicles & equipment
- Clean/hose down garage areasUse eater to trim around buildings fences etc.
- Help clean up roadsides when work crews are cutting brush/tree trimming
- Answer phone &/or radio when clerk is unavailable
