Description
Minimum Qualifications
- HW engineer with proven expertise in design and bringup of optical assemblies and platforms comprising of electrooptical and mechanical components.
- Extensive experience with handson optical system design is required.
- BS and a minimum of 3 years relevant industry experience.
Key Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience planning executing and analyzing data from user studies.
- Experience developing test platforms and HWcontrols software using Python LabView etc.
- Proficient in programming languages MATLAB Python C etc.
- Experience in use of of raytracing and/or optical design softwares e.g. LightTools OptisWorks FRED Zemax etc is a plus.
- Knowledge of tissueoptics is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills excellent documentation skills.
- Work experience in biomedical instrumentation for clinical research is a plus.
- MS/PhD degree in Optical Biomedical Electrical engineering (or related discipline).

- At Apple base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $143100 and $264200 and your base pay will depend on your skills qualifications experience and location.
