Job Description

Overview

The Cardiac Monitor Technician II monitors and interprets cardiac rhythms for patients in a healthcare setting. Working under limited supervision this role supports collaboration with healthcare professionals to ensure timely and accurate analysis of cardiac data.

Responsibilities


Collaborates with healthcare professionals to analyze and interpret cardiac rhythms and data to identify abnormalities or changes that require attention and intervention.
Operates and maintains cardiac monitoring equipment to ensure its proper functioning and accuracy to provide reliable data for patient assessment.
Processes recommendations from healthcare professionals for further evaluation or treatment based on the analysis of cardiac data to ensure timely communication and followup.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications


EDUCATION:Required: High School Diploma or equivalent
EXPERIENCE:Required: 6 months prior cardiac monitoring or completion of a Cardiac Monitor Technician Program and passing score on the Cone Health Cardiac Monitoring Interpretation Test administered by leader prior to offer.
