Job Description
Join our team and support students in various school districts across Illinois.
Clarifi Staffing Solutions is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to work with early childhood students. This role requires a collaborative professional who can partner with parents caregivers and staff to create comprehensive educational approaches that meet each students distinct challenges. The LBS1 Specialist will design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to address the unique learning needs of students in a selfcontained classroom.
You will be responsible for creating a supportive and structured classroom environment that fosters student growth. You will develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to meet the unique needs of each student and ensure accurate records of their progress and IEP goals are maintained. Regular assessments will be conducted to determine students educational needs and progress and curriculum modifications will be made to accommodate varying abilities. You will also provide emotional and social support to students promoting a positive and inclusive learning experience. Collaboration with general education teachers specialists and families will be essential to ensure comprehensive support for students learning and development.
Requirements
Applicants should demonstrate proven experience as a Special Education Teacher or in a comparable role with specialized knowledge in managing early childhood caseloads. A bachelor s degree from an accredited institution is a requirement with preference given to candidates holding a master s degree. Eligibility for this role mandates an active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a special education (LSB1 endorsement as alternative certifications will not be considered.
